I’m Ashley Fenker, published author, professional writer, and personal essay expert. My obsession is journaling and teaching others how to write their most authentic story.

In 2016, my personal essays started going viral. I loved the connection with readers, but…

I craved the power of writing in a private space for my eyes only.

Fast forward to when I became a mom in 2022 and my world was rocked. I struggled with postpartum depression and anxiety.

So I asked for help. I started therapy, and I found my way back to journaling. Once again, I was reminded of the power of writing to process my needs and own my story.

I’m seeing my life change as I tap into the power of writing in a private and safe space.

Relationships, creativity, finances, motherhood, boundaries, career choices, spirituality, confidence… and so much more… are all transforming the more that I write.

To me, journaling is the key to processing your needs and finding your voice. Journaling is literally the secret to uncovering what it means to show up as your best self.
